Ian & Jayne Wisdom are Realtors® with CIR Realty (Canada's largest independent
real estate brokerage) and are licensed in the province of Alberta. They are
able to sell any property, whether it is a pre-owned home listed on the MLS
(Multiple Listing System), a new build or even a For Sale by Owner. Jayne and
Ian cover a geographical area which includes the whole of Calgary, the surrounding
satellite towns and any area up to approximately 50 miles radius from the outskirts
of Calgary.
As your Realtors® Ian and Jayne's services are free because it is the
seller who pays real estate commissions. This means that in practice Jayne and Ian
are like your 'professional shoppers' where you tell them what you want and they go
out and look for it. Once they find properties that meet your search criteria they
set up appointments where you and they view the properties of interest. When you are
ready to place an offer they will advise you on each step and present the offer on
your behalf. Once an offer is accepted they will then monitor progress and make sure
that all conditions in the offer are addressed and that the transaction goes as
smoothly as possible. This monitoring and 'caretaking' continues right through to
possession of the property when they do the 'walk through' with you on your 'move
in day'. Even after the deal has been completed and you've moved in Ian & Jayne pride
themselves on still being available for their clients should the need arise.
Real estate is very different in Canada and there are many pitfalls and mistakes that
can be made by those not familiar with how things work here. Ian & Jayne, as immigrants
